Job Description/Your roles and responsibilities:
We welcome highly organized, self-motivated, communicative, and passionate co-op students to join our multi-award-winning health tech company’s head office in Toronto.
As a Business Development Assistant, you will work closely with the Director/CMO/CEO to assist in business development and growth efforts.
The ultimate objective of this position is to assist the company Directors in successfully growing leads, conversion, sales and revenues while maximizing HEHE Match Inc.’s brand awareness, market traction, sales funnel, etc.
The role most suits leadership material with previous business development experience.
Your primary roles and responsibilities include:
– Research new market opportunities and develop a network of corporate contact profiles to attract new clients,
– Create action plans to meet the company’s growth goals,
– Oversee growth projects, campaigns for marketing and sales outreach via working with Event Manager and Community Manager,
– Make sales projections, forecast revenue in line with projected income,
– Generate leads and forecast revenue from potential clients via connecting and building rapport with potential clients,
– Monitor business growth and strategize on how to reach more clients,
– Work with community members to strengthen relationships, increase conversion and revenue,
⦁ Regularly conduct outreach to external stakeholders, especially public relations and media, and maintain good relationships with them for business development and growth.
– Dress up for internal and external meetings, events and trade shows.
– Other ad hoc tasks
Qualifications/Skills required/Additional comments/Notes
– Excellent business writing, speaking and presentation skills,
– Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite,
– Strong attention to detail skills and time management skills
– Ability to meet deadlines, including some tight deadlines,
– Trainable with a strong can-do attitude is a must,
– Have done some business courses is preferable but optional,
– Familiar with the ChatGPT prompts, pro version and other AI tools is preferable and ideal
– English and Chinese bilingual is desirable.
